Born in Peru, and keep carries my roots, traditions, and love for family wherever life takes me. Before arriving in the United States, I had the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu, a place that remains part of the beautiful memories I carry with me. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve had the joy of traveling through many states, discovering new places, architecture, colors, patterns, and the little details that make every space feel unique. I never imagined that design would become such an important part of my life. For a long time, I thought I would become a judge. I attended an academy with the dream of becoming a lawyer, but life had another plan for me. I eventually studied Business Administration and, before I knew it, I was building a life around my family and raising five wonderful boys. Today, two of my boys are married, and three are still at home. Being a wife and mother has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I’m married to a wonderful man who is smart, kind, and supportive, and together we’ve created a home filled with love, laughter, traditions, and memories. I’m also grateful to say that I’ve grown a business I never imagined I would have. What began as something I never planned became a world that I now truly love. My interest in design started growing when I was living in Connecticut. I began noticing architecture in a different way—the colors, patterns, textures, combinations, and the way all of these elements could transform how a space feels. I became intrigued by the beauty that can be created when different pieces come together with intention. And now, I’m discovering this wonderful world of design one project at a time. Outside of design, I love plants, cooking from scratch, traveling, and, especially, Christmas decorating. There is something magical about creating a beautiful home for the holidays and turning simple moments into memories that our families will carry with them. Traditions are very important to me. I love sharing them with my children and keeping pieces of my Peruvian heritage alive in our home. One of my favorite New Year's Eve traditions is preparing a glass with 12 grapes for each member of the family. After we hug and wish each other a Happy New Year, we eat the 12 grapes—one for each month—and make 12 wishes for the year ahead. I also love making a New Year's doll with my boys, a tradition that brings everyone together as we prepare it and celebrate the beginning of a new year. These traditions may seem simple, but to me, they are about something much bigger: family, culture, laughter, and making memories together. And when I have free time, you might find me teaching soap making. I love creating things with my hands and sharing what I know with others. If someone wants to learn, why not? I’m always happy to teach. Today, I feel incredibly grateful for the unexpected path my life has taken. I thought I was going to become a lawyer. Instead, I became a wife, a mother of five, a business owner, a teacher, a traveler, a keeper of traditions—and now, a designer. I believe that sometimes the most beautiful chapters of our lives are the ones we never planned. Welcome to my world of design, creativity, family, tradition, and the beauty of making a house feel like home.
